Choose where to go for massage therapy?
I'm in the field of health (OT), living in Florida, and I would like to become a massage therapist. How do I decide to go to school? I would stay in Florida for massage school. No one is attending a massage therapy school in Florida (especially Ft Myers, Tampa and Gainesville) or do you? Are you satisfied with the school and the education of your massage? There are so many options when it comes to school, and very few are accredited. Those that are accredited are more expensive (from what I saw online from 7000 to $ 10,000) are non-accredited schools in 2000 price $ 5000 ... I a good education, but not much money to spend on the massage school at the time. So how do I decide to anyone in the area of advice? The other question is ... If a school has more credits in their program as 700-1000, rather than the most basic fl 500 credits required by law, then it is intrinsically better school? Thanks
My teacher is Bruce Cook over low heat. He has taught at Gainesville. Im in Oklahoma and not less than $ 100 for one hour massage. Medical massage is a large company, especially if you add holistic medicine.
