cereal unevenly cooked basmati rice?
I use good quality rice basmaty follow Delia perfect rice recipe to the letter. Measurement of water and rice .. but the rice grain is always tough and starchy tasting almost dry thought ends. How do I cook a Basmati rice cooked to perfection, is as good as the curry to go order?
there are different causes for this. 1. A breakdown uneven heat if ur using rice cooker. be sure of its good operation. If you are not sure the heat evenly divided, if ur using a gas stove (fire) or an electric heater. and make sure the rice is placed into the pot. No small mountains or hills. should be flat. 2. FALSE supply water in general, the ratio is 1 = 1. I cup rice, 1 cup water. If your hard drive and starch, this means that the U did not even need to add more water boiled. Rice varieties consume different amounts of water. even the same variety of rice may have different needs water mark. good quality rice is usually more than half a cup of rice (ie 1C = 1 1 / 2 water or rice c 2 = 3 cc). (Note: Cooking time Rice can be difficult. Therefore, this can not be the basis, as it differs according to variety and cooking method.) Try to experiment and, finally, or will the amount of water needed to put in the type of rice you get the texture you want. Good luck!
