I have a hole in the water pipe right below the stopcock. What is the best way to solve this problem?
The pipeline is a hole to get back home (or home) right under the faucet and a brick wall. I have to close the water line because I had no way to stop leak water in the basement. I am renewing this house and no money in my budget for a plumber. I need help. It's a big hole. Big enought to put my finger on it.

A quick fix is to repair a necklace that wraps around the pipe with a stainless steel band and a rubber gasket. The clamp opens and the tube surrounding the meeting held in the hole, then the neck is narrow with 2 screws that secure the clamp in place. This kind of works subject to any type of pipe, just get the correct size. I also suggest that to understand some do re-evaluate its plan for renewal and a new water main installed in PVC. The flight is a sign of things to come, so expect more leaks in the future. After you repair existing leaks, turn on main water supply, and close the valve side of the house. Go to the water meter and note the dial indicator needle and see if it moves. If so, you have another drain some from Elsewhere the yard. Good luck!
