Itching in the armpit - What should I do?
Hello, my underarms are red because it is 4-5 days, there are few / brown spots on them and they are very itchy (it was bumpy at first, but now is not more than red)), I think that should be my deodorant or my razor, so stopped using them. I also used an ointment called calendula in it (topical anti-inflammatory) to stop the itch a little. Both my arms are very irritating and also some random areas of my body, sometimes with itching (legs, arms, neck, ...) So: 1. Do you it's my deodorant or shave? 2. What should I do to make it better thanks and stop the itching, except using calendula? In advance!
If you have changed your deodorant or razors in the past I say two weeks probably is. If you do not use laundry detergent or something else that can be found on their clothing or a new type of soap? All these elements can cause an allergic reaction. You could take Benadryl to help with the itching of antihistamine and you can try Benadryl cream to help itching. If not cleared within days, I went to the doctor to get it checked out to make sure its not infected and may also be able to perscrible ointment to relieve itching and healing eruption.
